Samsung MyFit step-counting PMP hands-on

Another MP3 player on hand at Samsung’s monstrous booth was the MyFit PMP. As the name implies, this guy has an emphasis on fitness, and it boasts sensors that can detect fat and stress. Additionally, it’s got an accelerometer and functions as a pedometer so you can count your steps while you rock out to some tunes. The interface isn’t as snazzy as the TouchWiz-inspired IceTouch’s, but there’s something to be said for simplicity. The design here is fairly conventional, and our own experiences using touchscreen controls while working out haven’t been exactly convenient, so we’re glad they stuck to big, easy to click buttons instead of harder-to-use touch controls.
